Since giving a taste of his new material last October with his J. Dilla-sampling "The Season," Nas has remained fairly quiet about his upcoming plans. However, during a show in Orlando this past weekend, the iconic rapper revealed that he'll be dropping a new album this summer.

"Right muthaf**kin' now, death to all snitches. Watch every n***a around you my n***as 'cuz sh*t is real out here. 2015, new album this summer," he told the crowd (see below Instagram footage).

Last year, Nas celebrated the 20th anniversary of his critically acclaimed debut album Illmatic with a tour, a documentary and a new album titled Illmatic XX.  He also recently dropped a new song with De La Soul called "God It." This next album will be the follow up to 2012's Life Is Good.
