Trinidad James has recently released the news that he will be releasing a photography book. The book comes on the heels of his recent EP, Trips to Trinidad.

In an interview with XXL Mag, James shares insight into the idea behind his photography book.

"This book is basically a coffee table piece showing you the culture of Trinidad from a raw and ghetto perspective," James told XXL. "The book is all photography work and it took about two weeks to put together. I intend on never stopping when it comes to making books. Just wanna keep getting even more creative with them."

James was previously with Def Jam until the rapper tweeted he was dropped from the label. The Trinidad born and mostly-raised Atlanta rapper spoke with Complex last year after his release from Def Jam. The rapper revealed that he reached a point in his life where he realized it was time to focus on his music instead of other aspects of the entertainment industry.

"I feel like over this year and a half, with me focused and worried about so many aspects of entertainment and the music business that I was getting away from what matters most to people: the release of music," James told Complex. "The people want music. At the end of the day, what defines you is your music and people having enough music to know you and defend you. I don't have enough music out there yet. But I'm not just a one-trick pony."

Currently, the photography book is available for pre-order on his site. James is offering a paperback version of the photography book for $50, a small hard cover version that comes signed, with a CD and shirt for $70, or finally a big hard cover with the perks of the small hard cover in addition to more t-shirt options and a "mystery gift" for $125.
