Layzie Bone, member of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony hip-hop collective, proved that an OG can still play the role of a hero when he came to the rescue of a man who crashed his car while undergoing diabetic complications (from HipHopDX).

"We thought he was a drunk doing 60mph when he spun out of control and did a complete 180 degrees, thank God he didn't flip he was 30 ft in front of us," Bone wrote on his Instagram. "Turns out after we stopped to check on him he was having a diabetic shock."

The rapper and his crew stopped to check on driver after he drove off of the road, discovering that he was a diabetic amidst a low blood sugar (your correspondent is also a juvenile diabetic and can confirm that the effects of a low blood sugar are very much like that of being heavily intoxicated). The group grabbed some fruit and chocolate to help for the time being, before an EMS unit appeared and took over.

The group had been traveling through Wyoming on its way to Riverton for a show at the town's Eagle Hall. The story completes to a complete happy ending as Bone and company made it to the show with plenty of time. All's well that ends well.

Bone is touring in preparation for the release of his new album, Perfect Timing, which is due to be dropped at some point during 2015. "Perfect timing" is exactly how one could describe his location when this incident was going down.
