2015 has been a breakout year for Chicago rapper Vic Mensa. He has received co-signs from rappers like Kanye West and was signed to Roc Nation in April after a long process of wooing him by Jay Z's label. One of the biggest collaborations of the year for the SAVEMONEY rapper was his track "U Mad," which features a verse from Kanye West. Now the pair have released the music video for "U Mad," which features the rappers starting a riot against police in a small room.

Vic Mensa switches between being shirtless and being fully clothed as he jumps around a red-tinted room with various people there for a mini mosh pit and men in hazard suits welding objects in the room. Kanye joins in the fun for his verse, skulking around the scene, delivering his bars with a menace.

"U Mad" is the follow up to the prior collaboration between the two rapper, "Wolves," which was first premiered during Kanye's New York Fashion Week presentation and then given its TV debut on SNL 40 along with Sia, who is also on the record.

The track put Mensa on the map to the greater music community and he has now backed it up with "U Mad" as well as with features on other mixtapes like Towkio's recent, Wav Theory.

The big news recently for Mensa was his signing to Roc Nation. With the new deal, there will be new music on the way soon, including a project titled Traffic. He spoke to Power 106 about Traffic just after being signed.

"I'm working on a new project called Traffic that's coming soon. It's like stories of my life--a lot of my most personal moments--most vulnerable moments. And I'm really excited for the people to hear the music. There's vibes like 'U Mad', a lot more introspective sh*t... just a lot of textures."
