The state of Ben Affleck's marriage to Jennifer Garner has been at the center of rumors for months now and while these two have been seen together in public often, the divorce talk continues. While rumors of a split seem to flare up a few times a year for this couple, usually a sighting of them together puts an end to it. This time around, Garner and Affleck aren't doing a very good job of pretending that things are okay and so the rumors have persisted. Unfortunately, sources close to the couple have also admitted that the duo has been living separate lives for quite a while now and that divorce seems to be pretty imminent.
According to an exclusive report by Us Weekly, "Rumors of a split have dogged the couple off and on for years, but this time, sources say, there may be something to them. 'Where there's smoke, there's fire,' one insider shares in the new issue. 'The marriage is in trouble.' According to a second source, the Gone Girl star, 42, and the Dallas Buyers Club actress, 43, 'have had problems from the very beginning.' Among their biggest issues? Affleck's 'workaholic' nature and 'many vices.' explains an insider."
Affleck and Garner are just a few days away from celebrating their tenth anniversary, something that for a Hollywood couple is a pretty huge deal. In the past, sources close to the two have expressed surprise that the marriage has lasted at all, because his gambling and booze addictions are chronic problems and not just a part of his history.
While the couple has tried to hold it together in public, it seems as if something going on behind the scenes is preventing them from actually looking happy.
