Fans who bought Sunday tickets to this weekend's Wireless Festival in the U.K. were sorely disappointed when headlining act Nicki Minaj was over two hours late for her set. Citing travel issues, the "Feeling Myself" rapper missed her scheduled 7 p.m. show time, forcing the crowd to wait until after David Guetta's performance to see her.

Minaj was stuck in traffic coming from the airport, The Mirror reports, and she cited the weather for her extreme tardiness.

Promoters at the Wireless Festival promised the masses that Minaj would make it in time to join Guetta at his set for a performance of their hit single "Turn Me On," but Guetta was forced to perform the track without her as Minaj was increasingly tardy.

Eventually, Minaj showed up to the Wireless Festival, cutting Guetta's set short. She performed a shortened, 30-minute set which included recent hits such as "Anaconda" and "Feeling Myself."

Despite being two hours late, Minaj was unapologetic toward the crowd. "Our plane couldn't get out because of the weather but I want to tell you how much I f**king love y'all," Minaj told the crowd. "I want to tell you how much I appreciate you guys for showing up from day one."

Minaj also added a shout out for the ladies in attendance. "I want to say that to all the women in the building, if you are independent, make some motherf*cking noise!" she exclaimed.

Due to Minaj's shortened, Guetta interrupting set and her lack of apology, some in audience members at Wireless demanded a refund.

Minaj's travel issues stemmed from her headlining set at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark the day before.
