Apparently Joe Budden got more than he bargained for when he approached the topic of rappers Nick Minaj and Meek Mill's relationship via his podcast, "I'll Name This Podcast Later", alongside his co-host Hot 97's Marisa Menedez. While Budden voiced his opinion, innocently enough, about smitten Philly rapper Meek appearing to be sappy when it comes to his superstar girlfriend Nicki Minaj, looks like neither Meek nor Nicki took Budden's words with a grain of salt which resulted in the two having words in an all out Twitter exchange. All is fair in love and hip-hop?

Though Meek is having arguably the best week of his career after dropping Dreams Worth More Than Money, which is expected to exceed his debut album Dream and Nightmares, which snagged No. 2 on the chart and 165,000 units in its first week back in 2012, Meek is well on his way to surpassing his previous numbers and getting the No. 1 spot with an impressive 200,000 units this week. However, this didn't stop him or Nicki from weighing in on their less than successful counterpart Budden who left the world of reality TV, and is now engaged in an all-out Twitter war with the couple. A fight that is no match for Budden and Nicki Minaj's Barbz, might we add. When Meek got wind of Budden saying via his podcast, "Part of my problem with that is Meek's music is too hard. Meek's music is too hard for me to look at him with this f*cking sappy f*ck sh*t. Like be the hardcore guy that im sure she was attracted to at some point."

While the Jersey rapper made it clear that he respects and likes Meek as a rapper, he admittedly doesn't back down from his words and expressing that Meek's rapper persona contrasts with how he is in current relationship with Nicki. It didn't take long for Nicki to chime into the exchange as well. See the love and hip hop drama unfold below.
