Travi$ Scott finally gives a release date for Rodeo, his much anticipated debut album. Though a few weeks ago, Trav promised the album would drop before August, we're going to have to wait just a little longer. During a surprise show in NYC last night, Scott told the crowd they can expect Rodeo on September 4. A fan caught the announcement on Instagram. Watch below.

Trav's career started out fast, getting signed by both T.I. and Kanye West before he ever released a full project. Signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle as a rapper and Kanye's GOOD Music as a producer, he landed on the XXL Freshmen cover in 2013, and since, he's only released two mixtapes. Quality-wise though, they're among the best tapes of the past two years.

In 2013, his debut mixtape, Owl Pharoah, featured big names like T.I., 2 Chainz and Meek Mill. The success of Days Before Rodeo, released last August, led Travi$ on a headlining tour alongside producer/DJ Metro Boomin and Young Thug, who's recently found himself in a wealth of trouble.

Scott hasn't yet shared Rodeo's features, but he's tweeted out the producers who have been involved the album, and it's a "who's who" of who's hot at the moment: Metro Boomin, Zaytoven, Sonny Digital, Allen Ritter, WondaGurl, Southside, TM88 and, last but not least, Kanye West, who's mentored Travi$ for most of his young career. Mixing and mastering will come courtesy of the veteran Mike Dean, who's had a hand in every Kanye record to date.

Here's the lead single, "3500," with two of Atlanta's best, Future and 2 Chainz.

Rodeo will be released on Grand Hustle and parent label Epic Records. Who's ready for September 4?
