New deadmau5 music could be arriving soon - sooner than many fans may have anticipated. The "Strobe" producer took to Twitter in between shows in Europe to divulge some details about progress on the new studio he is building that has been in construction for quite some time and also new music he has in the works. According to deadmau5, real name Joel Zimmerman, a new album could be completed as early as January if everything goes to plan.

According to Zimmerman, the studio will at last be done in the fall and once he finishes touring this summer with the new dome setup, he will go into winter hibernation just making beats. Hidden out in his castle in the Canadian wilderness he will have fewer distractions as he makes music and he thinks the album will be completed by January. From there, when it might be released is anybody's guess.

The tentative album will be the follow up to the helmet-wearing producer's 2014 25-track effort while(1<2), which garnered him a Grammy nomination for best Dance/Electronic Album. He has not released much music since that album besides a few edits and demos, but there is plenty of material that he has been working on and he should be able to complete this winter for a new album. He also has a new collaboration in the works with Kaskade, which will hopefully make the cut.
