Earl Sweatshirt is a little guy, but dude can throw a punch. During a show in Sydney, Australia, one of the first stops on Earl's "2015 Ready to Leave Now" tour, an overly rambunctious fan ran up on stage and assaulted Earl, grabbing him from behind. Never a smart move...

Earl had just begun to segue into "Grief," off his latest album, I Don't Like Sh*t, I Don't Go Outside, when the overeager fan invaded the stage and then Earl's personal space. It looks like he wanted to give Earl a bear hug or get his hands on the microphone, perhaps. Either way, Earl was taken aback and responded accordingly. Ouch.

A fan caught the whole incident on Instagram. The first blow goes straight to the face.

After a few serious jabs, Earl's security quickly throws the fan back into the crowd. Trash Talk, the punk band that, like Earl, was formerly part of Odd Future, was also on stage, and band member Garrett Stevenson wasn't shy with his right foot. Of course, the fan's intentions couldn't be more idiotic. After watching painful the clip, though, ya gotta feel for the guy, no? Earl has three more shows in Australia, though we assume he's "Ready to Leave Now." The tour comes stateside, to Earl's hometown of L.A., on August 8, then continues non-stop through September 19, hitting Canada, most of the East Coast and finishing in the South. Starting August 21, he'll be joined by rapper Remy Banks and NxWorries, the duo of producer Knxwledge and R&B vocalist Anderson.Paak. Check out all the dates below:

The "Ready to Leave Now" tour comes about a month after Earl's three month "Not Redy 2 Leave" tour, during which he and Remy Banks were joined by Vince Staples.

Any U.S. fans looking to crash the stage -- another look at the above vid will hopefully change your mind.
