Kendrick Lamar is not known as one of the most active members of the social media community, leaving posts for the most important news like release dates. He has been building his buzz on radio TV, hitting radio shows all over the country, before and after the album release, while also performing songs on late night spots. The album has since been incredibly successful, going gold in the United States, despite not having any clear "radio hits" and a track atop the charts. But to remedy his lack of interaction lately, he took to Twitter to answer a few questions from fans in an #AskKendrick Q&A segment, where he talked about Lil Wayne, his album To Pimp a Butterfly and Earl Sweatershirt.
He praised Lil Wayne as one of the greatest of his generation and still looking to make an impact.
@MoeJamul 1 of the most influential artist of this generation and still hungry.

Keeping with the theme of praising others, he picked out Earl Sweatshirt, who just released his album I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside in March, as his favorite artist right now.

It is good to see him interacting with fans on social media, a platform he admits to be poor at.
