VMAs 2017: What to expect

Demi Lovato and James Corden have helped one dentist keep it "Cool for the Summer" by shaving his head on national television. Last night (Aug. 4) on The Late Late Show, the pop star and talk show host teamed up to deliver singing telegrams to people around Los Angeles, and as should have been expected, things got a little zany.

The 10-minute sketch, fittingly called "Singing Telegrams with Demi Lovato" featured Corden and Lovato delivering joy through song to three lucky people across the City of Angels. Wearing matching brown jackets, yellow kerchiefs and bowler hats (as singing telegrams do), Corden and Lovato congratulated a woman for her promotion (complete with plenty of blow job jokes), gave a man a mayonnaise filled birthday wish and congratulated a dentist for successfully raising $6000 for the YMCA.

Of course, the sketch wasn't that straightforward. The duo played a hardy a game of "Cruise, Shag, Marry" (instead of killing someone, you go on a cruise with them and don't have sex the whole time), stopped by for some bubble tea (and attempted to pay in song) and, in the be all, end all, Lovato shaved a man's head after she and Corden donated enough money so he could reach his fundraising goal.

So, yeah, he's feeling pretty cool.

Lovato presumably stopped by The Late Late Show with James Corden to promote her new single "Cool for the Summer," which dropped last month. Lovato is preparing for the release of her new album, which she has promised to be filled with fun music as she moves away from ballads and serious music.
