After a long standing feud between Guns N' Roses lead singer Axl Rose and lead guitarist, Slash, an interview with the guitarist on Sweden's Aftonbladet TV reveals that the two have patched thing up and are friends again, sparking talk of a possible reunion.

This is just the latest sign in a long series of events that point ever more towards a long sought after Guns N' Roses reunion of the original Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame inducted lineup.

As Consequence of Sound reports, back in May, Slash told a reporter "never say never" when asked about a possible reunion. Not exactly the most specific answer, but it's hopeful. Then in July, Daren Jay "DJ" Ashba and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, two members of the touring group's current cast, both announced they would be leaving the group. Now, it would appear all is patched up between the band's two leading men.

"It was probably way overdue, you know," Slash said on the Swedish TV show. "But it's.... you know, it's very cool at this point. You know, let some of that, sort of, negative... dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long."

He went on in the interview to say he could not comment on a possible reunion or if he had even discussed it with Rose.

Still, fans can get excited about this news. If they get working on this right away, could we see them headlining a big American festival next summer? AC/DC certainly proved legacy rock acts can draw a crowd. I could see Guns N' Roses occupying that space quite nicely. Or more importantly, could we hear new music (less of the Chinese Democracy variety) with the original lineup back in its proper place?

Only time can bring us those answers. While we wait, listen to some of the band's most iconic songs below as well as the interview with Slash himself.
