After an unfortunate two week delay, Nero have at last released their long awaited sophomore album Between ii Worlds. The three-piece UK electronic group does not have any features on the LP that follows up their monster 2011 debut Welcome Reality.

The 12-track LP shows a clear evolution in the Nero sound that burst onto the scene earlier in the decade. Welcome Reality had its moments of cinematic, orchestral beauty; but it was primarily a heavy mixture of dubstep and electro house. Between ii Worlds touches on those elements, but also brings in house, garage and bombastic, 1980s influenced synth-pop.

We have already heard some of the singles like "Dark Skies," "Satisfy" and "Two Minds," but put together, the album is flows together into one complete thought.

Stream Between ii Minds below on Spotify and purchase it on iTunes.

Tonight they will take over the famous Essential Mix on BBC Radio One to spin a special two-hour mix. Make sure you tune in at 4 a.m. GMT to hear their first Essential Mix in five years.
