ZHU has unveiled the second single from his long sought after Genesis Series that will feature the likes of Skrillex, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Gallant, AlunaGeorge and others. The new song "As Crazy As It Is" tabs A-Trak and Jamaican reggae artist Keznamdi to assist on a genre-fusing new single.
The track manages to blend together house and reggae with some hip-hop influences as each artist does their part to bring all of those sounds to this sonically interesting new track. Keznamdi and ZHU trade lines as the lead vocalist as the American producer's falsettos compliment the Caribbean sound of the Jamaican singer.
The three artists craft a reggae rhythm with strong house grooves. Simple, yet evocative guitar and piano sit side by side as ZHU, A-Trak and Keznamdi put together something brand new for the Genesis Series.
A-Trak's talents as a DJ are immediately felt with his scratching throughout the tune, giving the track a raw and more hip-hop feel.

"As Crazy As It Is" was first unveiled like "Automatic" in an email to those who signed up on the generationwhy.com website. A short 1:30 second clip was sent out to mobile users with an animated video, which would suggest there is another video ready for this track.
This is the second single unveiled from the Genesis Series. He first unveiled his track "Automatic" with AlunaGeorge last week, which ushered in the series.
It isn't clear if ZHU is planning a full album release or just singles, but all indications are he has a lot of material ready to release to the world.
