It has been a long two years, but Russian, producer, DJ Arty has released his debut artist album Glorious. The LP is not heavy on big names features, rather focusing on the production and songwriting collaboration between Arty and his singers that include Conrad Sewell, Clarence Coffee, Ray Dalton and Blondfire.
Arty has been releasing singles, remixes and short EPs for the past six years and it was time to push beyond that limiting format into a full-blown album. Glorious has allowed the Russian to explore new sounds with Nero-esque electro, orchestral arrangements and softer, more emotional tracks that use vocals as a focal point of the track, whereas he has normally just created instrumentals in the past.
Arty is continuing his Glorious tour that has taken the Russian across the United States and will continue to do so for the next three months with one stop outside of the county in Brazil for EDC Brasil. He will celebrate the album release tonight in Philadelphia at Coda and then officially at Webster Hall tomorrow night in New York City. See the full list of tour dates below.
