Rita Ora is looking to remake a classic. During a recent interview, the British singer revealed that she would like to revamp "Lady Marmalade" with some help from Miley Cyrus and Charli XCX. Iggy Azalea, who Ora also said she would like on the track, took to social media to opt out of the idea.

While talking with The Sun, Ora told the publication that she wants to recreate the song with some of today’s biggest pop stars.

"I'm trying to round up the troops,” she said. “I think it would be me, Miley [Cyrus], Charli XCX -- she'd be fun -- and Iggy [Azalea]."

Charli XCX offered up a prompt response to a tweet from Billboard, saying that she would be down. Azalea, on the other hand, apparently wants no parts in the matter. She responded to a tweet from a fan, writing, "That was an iconic moment in pop history and should be left alone."

Back in 2001, Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Mya and Pink covered the song for the Moulin Rouge film soundtrack. The original version of "Lady Marmalade" was released in 1975 by Labelle, an all-female singing group made up of Nona Hendryx, Patti LaBelle and Sarah Dash. As noted by Billboard, both versions of the song topped the Hot 100 for several weeks.

In August, Ora released a video for her Chris Brown-assisted single "Body On Me." That same month, she unveiled her "Religion" collaboration with Wiz Khalifa during a performance in Los Angeles.

Azalea is currently prepping the release of her release of her sophomore album. Earlier this month, she revealed her new LP's title and admitted that the cover artwork has been shot and some major performances have been booked.

Cyrus recently announced a string of tour dates in the U.S. with the Flaming Lips. They are slated to hit the road from Nov. 19 until Dec. 6. Following her provocative hosting gig at this year’s VMAs, she released her collaborative album, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz.

Charli XCX is currently working on her sophomore release, The Boom Clap. She also recently cancelled the last dates on her U.S. tour with Bleachers to focus on her follow-up to 2014’s Sucker.

She previously collaborated with Azalea on the mega hit “Fancy.” Azalea later collaborated with Ora on “Black Widow."
