With every passing gig on her 1989 world tour, Taylor Swift decides to expand her star-studded squad of best friends and performers, with Charli XCX being the latest addition during her Toronto Rogers Centre stop.  On the very same night, Swift's eagerness to collect a plethora of celebrity friends was mocked on the Miley Cyrus-hosted, 41st season premiere of Saturday Night Live. The pop sensation presented another artist to the Rogers Centre Stage, this time announcing Charli XCX to perform her first hit single, "Boom Clap," MTV News notes. The two singers swapped verses on the Sucker track as special effects made the performance an explosive one while fans sung along to the tune.

The "Boom Clap" rendition followed Swift's decision to introduce Keith Urban to the stage for a duet of the country icon's chart-topping single, "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" along with his 2002 classic "Somebody Like You." The "Blank Space" singer has upped her guest performance game by including some of the music industry's biggest names on her tour over the past week, including Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler and Haim. Over the entire stretch of the tour, Swift has introduced friends, colleagues and fellow celebrities Lisa Kudrow, Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez, Avril Lavigne and a boatload more of star power.

For the 41st season premiere of Saturday Night Live, one sketch focused on a post-apocalyptic, walking dead themed world where instead of zombies taking over the world, Taylor Swift's 1989 world tour squad commandeered everyone left of planet earth. "First it was the models, then the athletes. Then it was everybody," Kenan Thompson said according to Rolling Stone. "Police ... fire department ... Matt LeBlanc." The "Wildest Dreams" singer previously introduced the Friends actor, on a different night than Lisa Kudrow, to the stage during one of her August gigs in Los Angeles.
