UPDATE 2:11 p.m.: Drugs were found in Odom's system, including crack cocaine and opiates, According to E! News. Doctors are reportedly treating his condition as an "accidental overdose." Since being found unconscious and receiving medical treatment, Odom has suffered from a couple of strokes and a loss of oxygen.

A source in Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas also said Odom could possibly have brain damage, but is not brain dead. He's believed to have suffered from an "ischemic stroke," which is caused by a blood clot preventing any blood flow to the brain. These types of strokes are typically associated with cocaine overdoses.

"The long term effects of his drug use have taken a toll on his body and the binge this time was too much to handle," the source told E! News.

Former NBA star Lamar Odom is currently fighting for his life after being found unconscious on Tuesday (Oct. 13, 2015), in a Nevada brothel called Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South, according to a recent TMZ report. His health is apparently deteriorating fast, stating he's allegedly in a coma and battling heart failure. Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof opened up about the incidents that led up to Odom's current condition on a segment of Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.

Lamar reportedly arrived at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada on Saturday (Oct. 10) for a few days of partying and relaxation. Hof reportedly told TMZ that it wasn't until Tuesday afternoon they realized there was trouble. A woman found him in a lifeless state in his VIP Suite, screamed for a manager, and called 911. A "mucus-type" liquid was dripping from from Odom's nose and mouth.

Odom remains in critical condition after being rushed to a Las Vegas hospital. Needing assistance from a ventilator, TMZ reports Odom is in a coma and his heart is failing. There are also complications concerning his lungs and kidneys. He was believed to be taking an herbal Viagra (sexual performance enhancement drug) substitute in high quantities, ranging from about eight to ten pills, according to Hof.

"He came by himself, we picked him up in Vegas," Hof explained during a phone interview on The Breakfast Club. "He was having a great time until we checked on him about 3:30 yesterday afternoon and he was unconscious, called 911 and got him out of there. They put him on his side, he was throwing up some blood, got him to the hospital and the hospital said immediate we got to fly him to Vegas he may not make it. The thing made it so successful because his height was a deterrent because they couldn't get him in the helicopter because he was too tall."

Hof also added that the 35-year-old athlete was surrounded by two girls, Ryder Cherry and Monica Monroe, the whole time to keep his mind off of the recent episode airings of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The episodes feature phone conversations between him and ex-wife Khloé Kardashian, as well as a run-in with her former fling, NBA star James Harden. Khloé reportedly rushed to his bedside in the hospital, along with her sister, Kim Kardashian-West, and mom, Kris Jenner.

"I will never, ever not love Lamar," Khloé said to E! News earlier this year. "I was so obsessed with him in a healthy way. He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. There's nothing I can do. If I had my way I'd be married to Lamar in two seconds. "

Music Times will continue to update you on Lamar Odom's health as more information is disclosed.
