Kanye West has broken his music silence with two brand "new" songs "When I See It" and "Say You Will" featuring Caroline Shaw. "When I See It" is a cover of The Weeknd's "Tell Your Friends" that he has renamed and reworked into his own track.

"When I See It" leans heavily on auto-tune, much like 808s & Heartbreak and a reminder that West doesn't have the range that The Weeknd has vocally. This could have been a demo that Kanye created for his 808s & Heartbreak performances that kicked off in Los Angeles and are rumored to continue in Chicago later this year.

"Say You Will" was originally found on 808s & Heartbreak, and now gets a brand new verse from Caroline Shaw. While the "When I See It" cover is under 2 minutes, he lets loose a full four minute track with the new rendition of "Say You Will."

Neither one of these tracks are completely new, but when fans are holding their breath for any news about SWISH, these remixes / covers will certainly ease the pain for that uncertain future.

Yeezy uploaded them to his newly created SoundCloud page, which is interesting that he would take a chance on the music streaming and discovery platform given his stance on music copyright. There are almost no rips and unofficial remixes of his tracks out there because he is so staunchly anti-piracy and stringent on copyright law. SoundCloud has been a platform that is notably lax on this matter, but it could have just been the easiest way for him to get these two new tracks up to his fans.
