Blake Shelton may like to joke about how much he likes a stiff drink, but that doesn't mean he doesn't take his reputation seriously. After InTouch Weekly reported that the beloved The Voice coach was headed to rehab in the wake of his divorce from Miranda Lambert in July, he's firing back. Yes, the "Neon Lights" singer has filed a $1 million lawsuit against the tabloid.

As People reports and the filing reads, "Blake Shelton has had enough," and is seeking damages from InTouch for at least $1 million. The lawsuit is in response to the tabloid's cover story, which stated that the 39-year-old country star was on a downward spiral and just a few drinks away from death. The magazine also claimed that Shelton's inner circle was concerned about him and staging an intervention.

Though Shelton first laughed off the rehab rumors, he and his representation claim that the false story has caused damage to his "reputation, career and standing in the community."

Furthermore, the complaint states that Shelton is looking to "set the record straight - he is not in rehab, his 'close circle' is not trying to seek an intervention, and he is, in fact, hard at work on The Voice and other projects."

Rehab rumors aren't the only ones that have surrounded Shelton since he and Lambert split over the summer. He's also been tied to his fellow The Voice coach Gwen Stefani, but like the rehab talk, those rumors are also not true.
