Blake Shelton isn't afraid to admit that he likes a stiff drink or two, but that doesn't mean The Voice's token country coach is in need of rehab. After tabloids such as In Touch claimed that the "Sangria" singer was drinking far too much in the wake of his divorce from Miranda Lambert, Shelton and his representatives have shrugged off the rumors.

In Touch claimed to have the "real story," Gossip Cop reports, saying that friends of the 39-year-old country superstar was just a few drinks away from winding up dead in a gutter.

However, Shelton is neither in rehab nor is he being urged to go, his camp said. And though the rumors of excessive drinking and alcoholism could bring down a more serious artist (or maybe even someone truly on the brink), as always Shelton laughed off the rumors.

On his always-entertaining Twitter, he said that he loves hearing rumors about himself and, well, that rehab isn't so bad. It has free Wi-Fi, after all!

This isn't the first outlandish rumor that has surrounded Shelton in recent weeks. He and his fellow Voice coach Gwen Stefani (who is recently separated from her longtime husband Gavin Rossdale of Bush) were reportedly canoodling backstage at the hit NBC show. But, as with the rehab rumors, Shelton shook those dating accusations off, wishing that his love life was as colorful as the gossip magazines said it is.
