Charli XCX made a much-publicized appearance at the MTV EMAs in Milan as a presenter, where she handed Justin Bieber one of his numerous awards yesterday (October 25). In an interview with Billboard, she talked Adele and the hot topic of women in the music industry.

Charli XCX has plenty to say about women in the music industry, as she's worked with everyone from Rita Ora to Iggy Azalea and keeps her backing musicians entirely female. She seemingly denies the supposed competitive edge between women in the music industry and the brutality that will come with several upcoming releases this fall, saying, "I feel very supportive of the females around me and I think that's really integral to what I do."

"Dude. Ahhhh," XCX told Billboard about Adele. "She's just going to like kill us all and make us all worthless. It's just going to be amazing." She further gushed to the publication about women in the music industry, saying, "There are so many amazing females in the music industry right now. The topic of feminism is continuously being discussed and that's incredible."

The British singer-songwriter also has a new release of her own, entitled "Vroom Vroom" on the books and collaborated with yet another female in music, namely producer SOPHIE on it as reported by Entertainment Weekly. It is set to be featured on her follow-up album, which is as yet untitled and will follow debut album Sucker, which was released in 2014. Reportedly she may enlist former "It girl" Paris Hilton for the accompanying music video for the track.
