After former Lakers player Lamar Odom's near brush with death some weeks ago, estranged wife Khloe Kardashian revealed why she and Odom called off the divorce.
With the ink on their divorce decree all set to dry within the next couple of months, Kardashian and Odom seemingly pulled the plug on calling off their union to focus on rebuilding. Sources say that once Odom was through the worst of his health scare, KUWTK star Kardashian decided to break things off with her Houston Rockets boyfriend James Harden and focus all her energies on getting Odom well.
In a new interview with People, Kardashian opens up and gives fans some insight into what she's been going through these past few weeks. She also set the record straight on a number of public misconceptions.
Although Kardashian has done nothing but try to be a supportive and dutiful wife to Odom in his time of need, the reality star has still been met with much criticism as some accused her of staying by his side to garner more publicity for her book which she addressed on Twitter.

"It's out in the media that we are back together, but I wish people understood that's not in our thought process right now," She explained to People. "There are too many other important things, too many medical things. It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."
She further explains their current situation, "It's not anything sexual or intimate. I want to be his support system. Tragedy does make you reassess a lot of things, but when it comes to our relationship, it's the same, except I'm here supporting him fully."
She also shed more light on what actually prompted her to put a halt on the divorce, insisting that there was no rush and that she still cares very deeply for the troubled athlete.
"I'm not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody,"she said. "It's just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons, it's just smarter that gets on hold for a minute. But that does not mean I'm back with Lamar. That's a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can't tell you what tomorrow brings."
