Adele's long awaited 21 follow-up, 25, came out Friday and it's already poised to break records in the first hours of its release, so what better way to cap-off a successful week of promotion than with a performance of "Hello" and "When We Were Young" on Saturday Night Live?

She chose not to make the album available on music streaming services, but for those not willing to fork over the $10.99 for a digital download or $15.99 ($12.99 while on sale online) for the Target exclusive CD with three bonus tracks, recordings of live performances will just have to do.

Both songs sounded like they were recorded in the studio as Adele and her backing band flawlessly breezed through "Hello" and "When We Were Young" like they had played it for decades.

Dressed in a black, frilly dress, Adele softly opened with the often-memed words of "Hello" with a more pronounced cello part and crashing drums building into her belting quickly iconic chorus. "When We Were Young" had a similar pace and feeling, but was somehow more emotional as Adele's glittery eyes shined and sparkled with her heart-breaking song about remembering the good days of a lost love.

SNL is certainly the place to do it too, since the last time she was on in 2008, the show experienced its highest ratings in 14 years. However, as USA Today admits, a lot of that had to do with the Sara Palin/ Tina Fey sketch.

The cast this time around of course had to write a sketch about her and her obsessed fans. In the digital short, a politically diverse family gathers for Thanksgiving arguing about what to do about the threat of ISIS, when a little girl turns on "Hello" and the bickering family puts aside their difference to sing along.
