Florence + The Machine released their stunning third album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful in June and it has remained one of the best pop, rock albums and vocal performances of the year. Shockingly the EDM world managed to not over-remix the entire album to death within the first month. Now that the dust has settled on How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, it appears the Florence + The Machine are ready to unveil some official remixes with the first coming from Swedish electronic music duo Galantis for "Delilah."

Galantis take "Delilah" and flip it from the headliner slot where Florence + The Machine are going to occupy this summer when they tour as a main stage festival act and bring it into the dance tent with a brand new rework. Florence Welsh's voice is perfect for any sorts of melodic, electronic remix and the songwriting gurus in Galantis are the perfect guys to take up this mighty challenge.

They let Welsh's voice shine in the build, creating a soft new instrumental underneath with piano, but then take over the track in the drop with pitched vocal chops, uplifting piano and percussion that matches the melody.

It is rare to see a new remix from Galantis. Speaking to them back in September, the pair told us that they are approached to do remixes "everyday," but they prefer to do originals. "It's not like we don't like doing remixes, but it takes us much time as doing a brand new song or longer. I don't think it's that way for everyone, but we're songwriters -- we like to write new songs," admitted Christian Karlsson, one half of the group.
