UK three-piece electronic music group Nero have unveiled the music video for their latest single "Into The Night," taken from their latest album Between II Worlds. The animated video follows two lovers and their journey through some dystopic futuristic city where Nero play small clubs, large men guzzle dangerous green chemicals and violence reigns supreme.

The video starts out with the protagonist handling a dangerous deal for this green liquid that he then has to take to his client, this massive man who feeds on the green, almost nuclear liquid, reminiscent of The Simpsons. The exchange happens in the club Satisfy where Nero is performing. Things go south when the big man gets his fix and our protagonist has to evade the big man's muscle, including running away from a seemingly endless barrage of bullets.

He speeds off on his futuristic motorcycle to find a payphone and calls his significant other, saying the chorus "just get up and go, leave it all behind." They eventually meet up and then speed off into the night with their enemies not far behind.

The thundering sounds of Nero's "Into The Night," notably Alana Watson's vocals carry the viewer and our plot from its start to finish.

"Into The Night" was directed by Markus Lundqvist and Nero's Dan Stephens.

"It's long been a dream for us to commission an animation video for one of our songs. We've always been huge fans of 80s and early 90s anime and we wanted to capture that look and put it into the NERO world," said Stephens about his directing role in a statement. "Markus Lundqvist and I talked about making this video for months (ever since he directed the video for The Thrill) so to have finally finished it and be releasing it feels very special. We're so proud of this one and we hope you enjoy it."
