In an effort to appeal to the most dedicated of garage rock fans, the California-based band Wavves and its record label Ghost Ramp, are launching a music delivery subscription service to promote its music and the work of friend groups such as Best Coast and Cloud Nothings.

The service, titled Ghost Ramp Monthly, will deliver 7-inch and 12-inch vinyl to subscribers as well as label apparel, trading cards designed by Nick Gazin, Wavves member and Vice's New York Art Editor, and more. Starting in January, the first month will include a 7-inch collaborative single between Wavves and Best Coast, followed by another 7-inch joint single with the San Diego garage rockers and Cleveland punks, Cloud Nothings.

Consequence of Sound notes Wavves has worked with both of these bands in the past, twice with Best Coast on the Christmas single "Got Something For You" and the up-beat tune, "Nodding Off," as well as with Cloud Nothings on 2015's split LP, No Life For Me.

Further, in March, subscribers will receive a 12-inch record from Wavves frontman Nathan Williams' other band, Sweet Valley.

Ghost Ramp Monthly will cost fans $35 a month, which is a price point a little steeper than comparable services such as Jack White's Third Man Records Vault at $20 and $60 a quarter or Vinyl Me, Please at $23 a month. However, those services aren't wholly comparable given that they each offer different slightly different products, delivered at different times throughout the year and may add some additional costs on top of the subscription.

Still, don't be surprised if you see more of these kinds of subscription services getting rolled out as indie artists look for new revenue streams to tap into the fervor of its most hardcore fan base.
