The end of 2015 is nearly here, and Apple is now looking back by revealing the 20 biggest selling singles of the year on iTunes. As should have been expected, some of this year's biggest hits including releases from Mark Ronson, Wiz Khalifa, Adele, Justin Bieber and Rihanna made the cut.

"Uptown Funk" was the top-selling song of the year, according to The Toronto Star, which is no surprise considering the Grammy-nominated song topped the Billboard Hot 100 for an incredible 14 weeks at the beginning of the year.

Other top-selling songs are similar big hits, including "See You Again," Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," "Hello," OMI's summer smash "Cheerleader," Walk the Moon's crossover rock hit "Shut Up and Dance" and Hozier's "Take Me to Church." There were, of course, a few surprising entries, including Swedish DJ AronChupa's odd single "I'm an Albatroz."
