Taylor Swift is no stranger to performing in front of large audiences, especially after taking on a seven-month 1989 World Tour, complete with sold-out shows, filled stadiums and star-studded gust appearances from Alanis Morissette and Mick Jagger to Ellie Goulding and Justin Timberlake. Now, the pop sensation traded the large-scale arena performances for an intimate Australian radio station, Nova 96.9, gig and rolled out acoustic renditions of "Shake It Off" and "Wildest Dreams."

The cozy gathering of 100 people showcased Swift on a small stage as she tackled acoustic versions of her biggest 1989 hits, boasting a setlist of "Shake it Off," "Wildest Dreams," "Out of the Woods" and "Blank Space," MTV News reports. The 25-year-old singer further detailed the writing process for "Wildest Dreams," the album's latest single.

"I was like, 'Love just ends, it's not a question of will we break up, it's when will we break up,'" she explained. "It was one of those days. But I got a good song out of it."

The "Bad Blood" singer praised the audience a number of times for allowing her to switch up her performance style and environment. The fans held their own throughout the show, clapping along to the beat and providing backing vocals for the pop sensation.

As of late, Swift has spent a substantial amount of time in Australia, spending the Thanksgiving holiday down under with her family and even surprising the entire 1989 World Tour crew and band with an Australian vacation. Although she found some trouble when animal activists accused her and her filming team or ruining the habitats of endangered birds, Swift lent another helping hand to a fan who wanted to meet her singing idol before going deaf.

Recently, 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto took shots at the Red singer after listening to her wildly successful 1989 for inspiration. He criticized a number of songs before harshly admitting he doesn't "give a f*ck" about her. An apology quickly followed, along with a lawsuit filed against TMZ.
