Adele can say "Hello" to No. 1 again, not as though she ever left. For the ninth week in a row, the lead single from her new album 25 has topped the Hot 100, though recent singles from Justin Bieber seem almost destined to claim the top spot in the country.

Adele holds on tightly to her top debut spot yet again, Billboard reports. Last week, "Hello" was downloaded 174,000 times (thanks iTunes gift cards!) to claim the No. 1 spot on the Digital Downloads chart. And, despite holiday programming, "Hello" still reigned supreme on all radio formats. The only arena in which Adele didn't win the chart race was in streaming, but she had a solid No. 2 placing there.

Justin Bieber's second Purpose single "Sorry" plays second fiddle to "Hello" for a sixth week at No. 2. "Sorry" held the No. 1 spot on streaming charts, which eluded "Hello," but he was No. 2 on radio and third in sales, clinching the second place spot again. However, Bieber still has massive chart successes to celebrate. His new song "Love Yourself" (which has yet to be touted as an official Purpose single) continues to gain organic momentum, climbing to another new high at No. 3. Also, for the fifth week in a row, Bieber has five songs in the top five on the Hot 100, as "What Do You Mean?" spends another week at No. 5.

Drake's "Hotline Bling" rounds out the top five, at No. 4.

There were no new songs in the top 10 of the Hot 100 this week, but Nos. 6 through 10 saw some reshuffling. While Selena Gomez's "Same Old Love" and Meghan Trainor's "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" hold on to their (respective) Nos. 6 and 10 spots, Alessia Cara's breakout single "Here" reaches a new high at No. 6 and Shawn Mendes' own breakout hit "Stitches" saw a small one spot resurgence to No. 7.

Cara and Mendes knocked The Weeknd's former six-week No. 1 single "The Hills" to No. 9, as he rounds out this week's chart.
