Justin Bieber had a stellar 2015 that was made even better by the release of the Skrillex produced album, Purpose, which came out in mid November. One of the biggest tracks off the album was his hit track, "Sorry," and today, remix and mashup master, 3LAU, released 3LAU HAUS #40 (Welcome to 2016), where he dropped his highly anticipated remix of the original!
3LAU alluded to remixing the track back in late November, when he took to Twitter and stated, "Soo um @justinbieber - Sorry (3LAU Remix) ?!" This definitely got fans excited to hear 3LAU's take on the track, however, there was no time frame given as to when the track was going to be released. Leaving fans in the dark for about a month, 3LAU returned to Twitter in late December with a tweet reading, "Gettin there! @justinbieber - sorry (3LAU Remix)." Again, another tease for fans until today, when 3LAU released 3LAU HAUS #40 (Welcome to 2016), where he played the remix for the first time.

When listening to the mix, hidden amongst the 17 track setlist lies 3LAU's remix of Justin Bieber's chart-topping track, "Sorry." Fans can hear the remix begin at the 17:45 mark of the mix and hear most of the track for the next two minutes. Bieber's track, "Sorry," is currently sitting in the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Top 100 Chart, right behind Adele's track, "Hello," which has been in the No. 1 spot for an incredible nine straight weeks now! Impressive to say the least.
This is not the first time 3LAU has been in the news for a big remix or mashup, as at the end of 2015, he released a mashup of Fetty Wap's "679," Daya's "Hide Away" and Major Lazer's "Lean On" featuring DJ Snake, which now has over 300,000 plays on his Soundcloud.
The Las Vegas native and resident of Vegas's Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub has certainly made a huge splash in the music world with this remix and it hasn't even been 48 hours of 2016 yet!
