Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have revealed the title, release and cover art to their new album. The follow up to their breakout LP The Heist, their highly anticipated follow-up will be titled This Unruly Mess I've Made. It will be released on Feb. 26.

In a trailer for the new album, Macklemore explains how he had to reset everything when coming back to do a second album. He was paralyzed from the expectations of The Heist and needed to just get away from it all.

"What I couldn't find in a hotel room, on the road or in Seattle, I found in the middle of nowhere. No reception. Making music not because we had, but because we got to. I had forgotten how to do that. Not being afraid of the platform we were standing on. Not creating from a place of 'don't f*ck up' but creating from a place of "f*ck it up.'"

The trailer shows them working in the studio they built out in the woods in Washington and the various groups including choirs and artists that came in to work with them there.

"Music was never intended to be programmed, manufactured or made into a commodity. Music was intended to be the one thing we can rely on to disrupt the norm," proclaims Macklemore.

The cover art is simple and elegant with a plush red base and the title This Unruly Mess I've Made in gold lettering with a hand holding a lit match straight up.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have unveiled three singles from the album, "Downtown," "Kevin" featuring Leon Bridges and "Growing Up" with Ed Sheeran.
