United star midfielder Juan Mata opened up about today's game to Manchester's website.
"For the moment, we have to stay focused and keep the same mentality in our next game at Old Trafford against Southampton, the team of my friend Oriol Romeu. They have got two convincing wins in the last two games so we must be careful," he explained.
Southampton's Shane Long reflected on his personal successes and his team's while speaking with the team's website.
"I think it might be my shirt to lose at the moment, so it's a strong position for me to be in," he said. "I've always said that competition pushes every player. It pushes every player to play to their best because there's someone waiting there to jump in and take your spot. I've waited a long time to get this lead role in the team and I'm not going to let it go easily."
