Alt-rock fans rejoice: Brand New and Modest Mouse will be going on tour together this summer. On Tuesday (Jan. 26), the bands announced a co-headlining tour with 24 shows across the United States.
The Brand New/Modest Mouse tour will be a true co-headlining tour, with the acts alternating who will close out the shows throughout the summer. Both bands will be performing full sets with no other opener.
According to Consequence of Sound, the tour will kick off on June 28 in Magnua, Utah, and will run through markets such as Miami, New York, Phoenix and Seattle before wrapping up on July 31 in Portland, Oregon.
The tour isn't in support of any specific release. Modest Mouse's last album Strangers to Ourselves was released in January 2015. Meanwhile, Brand New is apparently working on a new album after releasing a single, "Mene," in April.
