LA-based producer and DJ Amber Giles, better known as Mija, might be "shredding a tidal wave of whiskey on a surfboard made out of don't care" as her Facebook bio (and a shirt that's for sale on her website) states, but the genre-defying electronic bass artist is already taking 2016 by storm. In the past week alone, Giles has announced her Sick.AF V2 Tour and dropped remixes of Darren Styles' "Come Running" and DJ Snake's "Middle."

Mija's bubbling electro-trap rendering of DJ Snake's 2015 tropical house trap hybrid "Middle" is featured on OWSLA's forthcoming compilation, Worldwide Broadcast. The compilation, which also features cuts from label leader Skrillex among others, is due out January 29th.

As Complex reports, you can stream the "Middle" remix in advance of the release via OWSLA's YouTube, below.

Mija's first remix of the year saw the producer reworking Darren Styles' happy hardcore anthem "Come Running." Although the original is nearly a decade old, Giles updates the track with the elements of her signature sound including a futuristic bassline. Listen via her Soundcloud, below.

The Sick.AF V2 Tour marks Mija's second world tour, Magnetic Mag reports. The 30-plus date tour will see Giles debut her much-anticipated "FK A GENRE" parties and set sail with Holy Ship among a few other mid-tour festival stops. She'll also be stopping in Australia for about a week, joining Anna Lunoe and REZZ for a Miami date, and teaming up with Big Gigantic for a gig at NYC's Terminal 5 in March.

More information about the Sick.AF V2 Tour, as well as some entertaining design work featuring an old school AOL Instant Messenger conversation between "1-800-Hotline-Drake" and "DJKhaled" amongst imagery of sparkly pastel dolphins, head to the artist's website. Although it's not listed on her website, after the tour ends the teal-haired producer can be found throwing down at Mysteryland USA.
