When Gwen Stefani revealed the tracklist for her upcoming third solo album, she wasn't being coy when she wrote This Is What The Truth Feels Like. As it turns out, that's the name of the album. On Wednesday (Feb. 10), the Voice coach revealed her new album's title and release date, along with a new live music video, set to debut during the Grammys.
Stefani's This Is What the Truth Feels Like is due for release on March 18, her official website announced. Along with a title, tracklist and release date, Stefani also revealed her album's stunning artwork, which features a close-up shot of the blonde superstar with hand drawn hearts, tears and flowers giving the record a sense of femininity and raw emotion.
Stefani is teaming up with Target for the release of This Is What the Truth Feels Like and for her upcoming live music video "Make Me Like You." The single is due for release on Friday (Feb. 12) and will be followed up three days later with a live music video, set to be shot and debuted in real time in a Target commercial during the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.
"Make Me Like You" will be the second single from Stefani's new album, following the release of 2015's "Used to Love You."
The release of This Is What the Truth Feels Like will mark Stefani's first solo album in a decade. Her last effort, The Sweet Escape, was released in December 2006.
