Montreal's biggest all-genre music festival Osheaga Music & Arts Festival has announced its 2016 lineup. The bill will be headlined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Rey and Radiohead, in addition to other acts such as M83, Disclosure, The Lumineers, HAIM and Future.

More artists who will perform in Montreal at the end of July include Flume, Grimes, Beirut, Half Moon Run, Bastille, Mac Miller and Walk The Moon.

The lineup is as strong as it is diverse.

This is just the first wave of acts, which will bring the biggest names, but it is pretty stacked with talent from top to bottom.

Festivals like this are generally dominated by rock and have leaned toward electronic as the second genre, but there are some solid rappers also included. Among those performing are Cypress Hill, Tory Lanez, Vince Staples, Jazz Cartier, Goldlink, Mac Miller, Skepta, The Underachievers and Logic.

There will be plenty of electronic music, ranging from live synth pop acts like St. Lucia, RÜFÜS Du Sol and Years & Years to more straight ahead DJs from across the genre such as Flume, Disclosure, Keys N Krates, Classixx, Lane 8, Snakehips and Boys Noize.

The meat of the lineup comes from the various rock and indie acts in the lineup from top to bottom such as Kurt Vile & The Violators, Foals, Nothing But Thieves, Foy Vance, Jack Garratt, Oh Wonder, Bloc Party, Passenger, The Lumineers and of course the headliners Radiohead, Lana Del Rey and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Osheaga Music & Arts Festival will take place at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal from July 29-31. Tickets are on sale now starting at 310 Canadian dollars for a three day general admission pass.
