Although she might be of legal age now, the relationship between Kylie Jenner and Tyga have been making headlines since its inception. Their age difference became a continuous topic of discussion, generating backlash from various media circuits. On Wednesday (Feb. 24), the rapper sat down with 106 KMEL's Shay Diddy in San Francisco to reveal how the negative attention affected him. He also responded to Blac Chyna's Instagram diss.

It wasn't until after Jenner turned 18-years-old last August that the two went public with their relationship, despite being photographed together several months beforehand. Tyga is older than the reality star by eight years.

The 26-year-old Compton native revealed all the scrutiny didn't affect him. Tyga did not know how to speak on the situation, instead he took it all in stride and kept his faith that everything would work out in the end.

"It's kind of hard to really talk about that because people are gonna bash - I didn't understand it though 'cause I'm like, 'This person is a really good person,' " Tyga told KMEL. "And it's almost like, the devil keeps trying to tell me something to not follow God and not just let God do what he wanna do."

Luckily, all the attention dind't put a strain on their dating life. The couple was able to find a balance. Tyga admitted he was able to give her advice about things he's already experienced due to his old age, while Jenner was able to shed light about constantly living in the spotlight.

The age gap wasn't the only problem they faced. Tyga's ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna, who happens to be the mother of his three-year-old son King Cairo Stevenson, has been known to throw subliminal shots at Jenner in the past. Most recently, Chyna appeared to call her out on an Instagram post for copying her cooking show idea. The post has since been deleted.

The "Hookah" rapper reportedly responded to Blac Chyna through multiple Snapchat posts. One of his captions hinted that she wasn't the first person to come up with a cooking show idea. He then advised people to worry about their own lives and focus their energy on personal improvement.

"I just feel like 'the grass is always greener on the other side' to people, and it's like, worry about your own grass and yours will be just as green," Tyga said.
