On Sunday (Dec. 20), a special family vacation episode aired of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, demonstrating how emotions can run high when people don't follow the rules. In a recent interview with E! News, Kim Kardashian opened about Kylie Jenner inviting her on-again-off-again boo Tyga to the "girls only" trip and cleared up rumors surrounding drama with Kendall.

With the exception of Kourtney's son Mason, the Kardashian-Jenner family expected to enjoy some fun in the sun during their trip to St. Barths exclusively with the girls. When the ladies found out the 18-year-old social media guru invited her rapper boyfriend without telling anyone beforehand, tension quickly filled the Caribbean air.

While each sister spoke her mind about the situation, it seemed to affect Kendall the most. After a previous episode showed Kendall and Kylie arguing and cursing at each other over a dress, fans couldn't help but wonder if bad blood had formed between them. Kim confirmed their relationship is not "rocky." Instead, she believes the entire situation was due to a lack of communication.

"When Kylie showed up, because she came like a day later, Kendall was so excited for them to spend time together and Kylie brought her boyfriend, she just didn't know about it," Kim told E! News.

The 20-year-old model expressed just how much she was looking forward to spending time with her little sister, citing their busy schedules as the reasoning behind their lack of chill time. Before the ladies set off to the beautiful island, they intended to spend some time with their dad at the race track, but Kylie cut the day short, leaving Kendall alone.

All of Kylie's attention and focus was directed toward spending time with Tyga instead of making memories with her family. The 35-year-old mother of two went on to explain why Kendall got so upset with her sister and why she sympathizes with her.

"Kendall had all this stuff planned and then it was like, ‘Oh there goes my girls trip.' She was just so excited to spend quality time with Kylie and just had she been prepared it would've been a different story, Kim told E! News. "I felt bad for Kendall, kinda."

Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on the E! network.
