The Kylie Jenner and Tyga split speculations continue and in a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star insisted that the two were "hanging out." The episode is set to air on Monday, Nov. 30, and a short clip was released of her interview. The topic is as always Tyga, whom the young starlet went public with this past August.
"We're not broken up," Jenner insisted to DeGeneres in the video snippet, "We just, honestly, we became best friends before anything happened so I think that's awesome. And we're just like, I don't know, hanging out." She also confirmed the rumor that Tyga purchased a Ferrari for her on her 18th birthday after DeGeneres prodded her about exactly what "hanging out" was supposed to mean.
The rumors began swirling that the two had broken up this past Thursday (Nov. 19) when Jenner was notably absent from his 26th birthday at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood. The teenager, who is known for being extremely active on social media, also did not post anything about his birthday. TMZ additionally reported that Jenner was seen leaving a club with A$AP Rocky and jumping into his SUV shortly after the break-up news leaked to the tabloids.
An E! insider told the publication that they were simply on a "break" and not actually "broken up," on Nov. 19, saying, "They were just a week or so ago about 'ever after' and things got messy this past week. Kylie wants time to just be by herself and do her. Tyga is not giving up as that's his one and only lady."
But Jenner debunked the rumors herself with a Snapchat where she appeared to be holding hands with Tyga and simply wrote on it "everyone needs to chill." And after the appearance on Ellen perhaps the rumors will finally be put to rest.
