It's been nearly four decades of pop-rock fun with The Go-Go's, and now it's time for the "Vacation" band to say goodbye. On Monday (March 21), the legendary '80s rock band announced its intentions to call it a day with a massive farewell tour featuring none other than the clearly Go-Go's inspired band Best Coast.

According to Rolling Stone, The Go-Go's will hit the road for 18 dates this August for one final tour with Best Coast (on select dates) and singer-songwriter Kaya Stewart. Kicking off Aug. 2 in Clearwater, Florida, The Go-Go's will then bring their crunchy, glossy hits to New York, Toronto, Las Vegas and more before wrapping up the tour (and their career) on Aug. 30 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

"After a 38-year run, we are gearing up for one last blast of a summer tour. We feel so lucky and so grateful to have had the incredible support of our fans for so long. We can't wait to get out on the road and give the people what they want: some loud, fast music and a great party," The Go-Go's said in a statement.

The Go-Go's released three studio albums in the early '80s, which spawned such massive, timless hits as "Our Lips Are Sealed," "We Got the Beat" and "Head Over Heels." The girl group then briefly reunited in 2001 for its final studio album God Bless the Go-Go's.
