Brooklyn indie rock band DIIV have canceled their remaining European tour dates due an "urgent health issue." The band was just a few weeks into their two month European tour, which included dates in the UK and across continental Europe when they broke the news to promoters.

"After completing the first half of the tour in the U.K., the band were faced with an urgent health issue and the remaining dates in Europe have been cancelled," said a statement issued to concert promoters via EW. "We are working on rescheduling where possible."

Liverpool venue Arts Club posted an update about the tour on their Facebook page, confirming the news and also saying that they were working hard on trying to reschedule a date at some point.

This doesn't necessarily mean that DIIV are off the road for good this year. They have scrubbed their European tour from their Facebook page, but they still have one month of shows in North America starting on May 7 at Webster Hall. At this point it appears as though they will still go ahead with these dates as planned, but stay tuned for any other updates.
