Tyga may be facing jail time when he returns from a vacation with Kylie Jenner. According to lawyers, the rapper owes $480,285 to his landlord Gholamreza Rezai for trashing the mansion he has been renting.

Tyga and Jenner are currently vacationing on the island of Turks And Caicos in the Atlantic Ocean as a celebration for her 19th birthday.

The plaintiff's lawyer Boris Treyzon is asserting that Tyga will be detained once he returns following a missed court date this past Tuesday (Aug 9). A bench warrant for his arrest was issued on Tuesday when he failed to appear in court.

Treyzon said in a statement to People, “Tuesday was Tyga’s day to appear in court, and he didn’t show up. We requested the court to issue a bench warrant. The court agreed with us that Tyga’s actions have not been what society demands of him, so they issued a bench warrant. Now, if he comes in contact with law enforcement, they will likely detain him and keep him detained until he posts bond.”

The charges against Tyga stem from 2011, when he trashed a holiday home he was renting in Malibu. According to Rezai, Tyga disconnected the mansion’s security and intercom system, damaged a shower, ruined the hardwood flooring of the house and even installed a stripper pole in the master bedroom while he was staying there.

The lawsuit was first brought against Tyga in the midst of his gig in San Diego on July 20.

Due to his pattern of ignoring obligations in the past, Tyga will be unable to transfer any assets until the lawsuit is completed. Even his birthday present to Jenner of a Mercedes Maybach will most likely be reclaimed until he is able to post bond.

The lawyer further said, “His history in this case is that he’s been ignoring his obligations. Hopefully, he now understands there are repercussions, and we’ll continue to push this matter forwards.”
