President Obama has revealed the line-up for the first White House Festival, South By South Lawn. Organized by the producers of acclaimed music industry festival South By South West, the inaugural event is taking place on Oct. 3 on the White House lawn.

South By South Lawn is slated to star The Lumineers, Sharon Jones And The Dap Kings, and DJ Beverly Bond, as well as other musical acts who are yet to be announced. In addition to music, South By South Lawn will also feature a preview screening of Before The Flood, which is a documentary chronicling climate change. Before The Flood was directed by Leonardo DiCaprio and features a score by Mogwai and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails.

South By South Lawn tickets have since closed to the public, but were given out through a public ballot in the US. But it has been rumored that some tickets might still be available through the official website before the event.

An official statement posted to the festival website read, "At SXSL, we'll call on every American to roll up their sleeves and discover their own way to make a positive difference in our country. And it's an opportunity to celebrate the inspiring work that so many Americans have already accomplished."

While it is the first official event to be held at The White House, Obama is known for bringing music to his residence. The president recently threw an Independence Day barbecue where Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Mone performed according to NME.

It has also been rumored that if the event succeeds, it will be instated annually into a rotation of White House parties. Thus far, neither of the upcoming Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump have released any information as to whether they would choose to continue it.

The festival will also reportedly be live streamed at WhiteHouse.gov, Facebook.com/WhiteHouse and sxsw.com/live.
