Will Cardi B Take Over 'The Tonight Show'?

The Bronx Native will appear alongside Fallon on Monday, April 9, in the wake of her forthcoming album, Invasion of Privacy, which will lauch on Thursday, April 5. This will be Cardi's third time on The Tonight Show as she first appeared on it in September 2017 to perform G-Eazy's single, "No Limit."

Cardi will also be the show's musical guest and will help interview other guests who will appear on the show. The other guests have not been confirmed, but it's safe to say that the Grammy nominee was quite entertaining by herself when she sat down with Fallon for an interview in December 2017.

During that interview, Fallon could not contain his laughter thanks to Cardi's continuous sound effects and the story she told him about why she changed her name to Cardi B.

"Then it was my Instagram name, Bacardi B, but for some reason, my Instagram kept getting deleted; I think it was Bacardi that had something to do with it so I just shortened it to Cardi B," the Love & Hip Hop alum told Fallon.

The rapper also discussed why she was refusing to buy Christmas presents for anyone, as well as her $500,000 engagement ring from her fiancé, Migos member Offset.

Bartier Cardi

It looks like Cardi is making sure she stays in the news as she officially released a music video for her hit single, "Bartier Cardi," on Monday, April 2. The track also features rapper 21 Savage and has already made its way to the 14th spot on the Billboard 100 charts in March.

In the video, the 25-year-old appears in a red lingerie which she paired with a matching fur scarf and sparkling diamond jewelry.

21 Savage makes a quick appearance as he as raps his verse, while two women drag him to a chair and strap him in a front wall of a television screens. Cardi's rumored baby daddy and fiancé, Offset, also makes a cameo as the two make out in the backseat of a moving luxurious vehicle.

In March, news broke that Cardi was reportedly six months pregnant and expecting her first child with the rapper. Cardi has not yet confirmed the news, but fans believe there's a possibility that she might be as a woman alleged on The Wendy Williams Show that she saw her with a baby bump.
