Jackson Family Pays Tribute To Joe Jackson

La Toya Jackson confirmed the news of her father's death with a message on Twitter on Wednesday.

"I will always love you," the singer and television personality wrote. "You gave us strength, you made us one of the most families in the world. I am extremely appreciative of that, I will never forget our moments together and how you told me how much you cared."

One of Joe's grandsons, Randy, also posted a tribute to the Jackson patriarch.

Another grandson, Taj Jackson, son of Tito Jackson, also made a post about Joe's death. In a tweet, he called out the people who were criticizing the Jackson patriarch and his controversial relationship with his children.

Paris, daughter of Michael, also posted a message to her late grandfather on social media. On Instagram, she revealed that Joe spent his final moments telling stories about his famous children.

While Joe was a controversial figure in the Jackson family, the 20-year-old model/social media star thanked the talent manager for the "dynasty" his spent his whole life creating.

"You are the first true Jackson. The legend that started it all," she wrote. "None of us would be anywhere near where we're at if it weren't for you. You are the strongest man I know. Your life's work will go down in history, as will you, to be known as one of the greatest patriarchs to ever live."

Her brother Prince also took to Instagram to honor "The Hawk" by posting a photo of himself beside his grandfather.

This man is and always will be an example of sheer willpower and dedication. He didn't choose the path that was the easiest but he choose the path that was best for his family. You taught me to take pride in the Jackson name and what it really means, you taught me dedication in the face of adversity and most of all you showed me strength and fearlessness. There is and never will be someone like you. Fly free and until we meet again The Hawk.
