Fans of singer and poet Lana Del Rey have found hope as the artist reveals the cover art and supposed title of her new spoken word poetry project, in a since-deleted post.
Online media portal Stereogum was among the first to report on LDR's glimpse into her latest project. The since-deleted post hints at her upcoming spoken word poetry album being called "Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass." Frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff is set to provide the background music for the album.
The apparent cover art for the upcoming album has been reuploaded in the Polish fanclub Twitter account "Lanaism, Lana Del Rey Source." It features an up close painting of orange fruits hanging from the tree against a blue background.
LDR also uploaded a teaser of her reading a poem, while the video shows the blue sky filled with clouds. Palm trees sway as people and cars pass by her. The IGTV video, posted two days ago, April 11, now has 1.2 million views as of this writing.

The One Dollar Spoken Poetry Album
The "Born to Die" singer has already shared her prospects at a spoken word "freestyle poetry" album via previous Instagram posts, first slated on January 4th before moving to February this year.
In her Instagram video posted last December 20, 2019, she explained to her 16 million followers that her work "Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass" is taking a lot longer before announcing her plans for a January 2020 release date. She also shared to fans how she mulls over selling the album for only one dollar, going around the idea of ideas being priceless. Del Rey also plans to donate half of the spoken word poetry album sales to Native American organizations.
In a January 4 tweet, however, Lana Del Rey greeted everyone "a great New Years" before announcing that she'll be moving the release date for "Violet" for "about a month," explaining that they lost a few days without progress.
From "Video Games" to "Doin Time"
Born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, Lana Del Rey started her mainstream career after her viral debut single "Video Games" back in 2011, landing her a recording contract with Interscope and Polydor in the same year. She later released her debut album under her record labels, titled "Born to Die," in 2012. Her debut album was a commercial success and spawned the hit "Summertime Sadness," whose Cedric Gervais remix peaked at the top ten of the Hot 100.
Two years later, LDR released her following work, "Ultraviolence," again to critical and commercial success. The album track "West Coast" debuted at the 17th spot of the Hot 100 while the album itself debuted atop the US Billboard 200.
Her music career was marked with successful albums such as "Honeymoon" in 2015, "Lust for Life" in 2017, and "Norman F**king Rockwell" just last year. "Rockwell" was produced by LDR and Antonoff and was among the nominees for the Album of the Year award at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
Lana Del Rey has also written songs for movies such as "Young and Beautiful" for the 2013 Leonardo DiCaprio movie "The Great Gatsby" as well as "Don't Call Me Angel," together with Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, for the 2019 Charlie's Angels soundtrack.
