Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger may have just turned 71-years-old this past July 26, but that doesn't mean the man is going to stop touring. In fact, during a recent interview with The Telegraph, the legendary musician states, "I don't know when I'm going to stop, but I'm still going now." He also spoke about his role behind the scenes of the upcoming James Brown biopic, Get On Up.

The singer will soon head back on tour with the group that made him a legend. And while almost all of us would grow weak in the knees at the very thought of traveling so much in our 70s, Jagger explains that's the life he really enjoys: the road life –– even after all these decades. "I enjoy touring. It's a very energizing thing. You never get bored," he says.

The singer added, "It's very irresponsible, because you don't have to worry. You get to one place and you know you're not going to stay there more than a couple of days. Good, bad or indifferent, you're on to the next place."

Jagger is one of the producers in the soon-to-be-released film Get On Up. The film was 12 years in the making and follows the life of the legendary Godfather of Soul –– from childhood, through his addictions, and ultimately, to when he achieved his legendary status.

"I'd met him and hung out with him," Jagger tells the Telegraph. "He was a full-on, super high energy stage performer and I always admired the way he danced, the way he played an audience, the way he always gave 100 percent and was always trying to do new things."

Get On Up will be in theaters in the United States tomorrow, August 1.
