Good news for hardcore rock fans! It appears that former Busted member, Charlie Simpson, is teaming up with Bring Me The Horizon for a collaboration.

In a segment called "Does Rock 'N' Roll Kill Braincells?!" by NME, the Fightstar frontman was asked a few questions about his career.

When asked about his former band's debut single, "What I Go To School For," he recalled speaking to Bring Me The Horizon keyboardist Jordan Fish who told him that their tracks are "f****** bangers!"

The interviewer directly asked him if there was any chance of him collaborating with the band, to which he responded, "I spoke to Jordan [Fish] two weeks ago because we want to do a project together. We became buddies after doing Warped tour together years ago."

It seems like they have not recorded a song yet as they are still figuring out what to do together and something he could get him on.

For now, fans can enjoy solo music from the singer as he has an upcoming record titled "Hope Is A Drug," dropping on April 22.

This is the first time Simpson will release a solo album for the first time in six years.

His previous records were 2016's "Little Hands," 2014's "Long Road Home," and 2011's "Young Pilgrim."

The singer will also collaborate with Norwegian singer Sigrid on the album. The song was dubbed "Bad Life" and was announced on TikTok.

Fans can hear the full song a day before the album's release.

At the time of this writing, Simpson has not revealed whether they already have a title for a song or not.

Bring Me the Horizon Previous Collaborations

Simpson's collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon isn't possible anytime soon, but fans can still enjoy the band's previous project with Ed Sheeran for their version of "Bad Habits."

The singer seemed to have expanded his distinct sound of music as he collaborated with the rock band.

"Bad Habits" was initially performed by Sheeran with traditional instruments like guitars and drums.

BMTH added its rock twist to the track, and it got positive reviews from fans as it now has 17 million streams on Spotify.

Prior to the song's release, the singer and the band previously performed the song during BRIT Awards, where it featured screaming vocals and rock instruments.
